Cirrus™ HD-OCT:
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging test. OCT is a unique test because it allows doctors to look at cross-sectional layers of the retina (the nerve tissue and blood vessels in the back of the eye). Each of the ten layers in the retina can be viewed in amazing detail.

The Cirrus™ HD-OCT allows the doctor to measure the thickness of each layer to aid in the early diagnosis and long-term management of many retinal diseases and conditions. These include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, pre-retinal membranes, macular swelling, macular holes, cystoid macular edema, central serous retinopathy, glaucoma and optic nerve damage.

Heidelberg Retina Tomograph II (Glaucoma Management):
The Heidelberg Retinal Tomograph II (HRT II) is an instrument used to diagnose and monitor changes related to Glaucoma. The HRT II uses a Confocal Scanning Laser to produce three-dimensional images of the optic nerve. It also produces a set of precise numerical measurements that can be used to document glaucoma-related optic nerve status and changes.

Kowa α-D Digital Retina Camera:
This high resolution digital camera offers high quality retina images and allows easy image storage with a built-in 5 megapixel capture system. This system photo-documents retinal eye disease such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal blood vessel blockage, glaucoma, macular degeneration and many other retinal abnormalities.

Topcon SL-D7 / DC-1 Digital Video Biomicroscope & Camera:
The new SL-D7 digital photo slit lamp is the outcome of extensive development based on more then 70 years experience in slit lamp technology. The Topcon SL-D7 provides in-office video and imaging of the eye health exam to aid in patient education and obtain images of eye conditions such as cornea abrasions, cataracts, eye infections and many other ocular surface disorders.

Icare® Tonometer (Eye Pressure Measurement):
No air puff. No eye drops. No anticipation. And best of all, no more startling shock. The air puff tonometer (non-contact tonometer) has finally been replaced by the Icare tonometer from Icare Finland. The Icare tonometer is the newest and best technology in eye pressure measurement.

The Icare® tonometer is based on a proven accurate measuring principle, in which a very light probe is used to make momentary and gentle contact with the cornea. The measurement is barely or not at all perceived by the patient and often does not even cause corneal reflex. The device not only makes IOP measuring a more pleasant experience on all patients, it is also an important break-through for succeeding with anxious patients.

Reichert PT-100 Non-Contact Tonometer (Air Puff for Eye Pressures):
The PT-100 is a totally portable and cordless instrument that provides a soft, comfortable air puff measurement. No more harsh air puff! This automatic instrument is unrivaled in its ease of use, clinical accuracy and patient comfort.

Humphrey Field Analyzer/ HFA II-i & Humphrey Matrix:
These instruments provide analysis of the neurologic function of the vision system starting at the eyes and ending at the visual centers of the brain. The Gold Standard in glaucoma diagnosis and management is the Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer II. The Matrix represents the latest breakthrough in visual field analysis using Frequency Doubling technology.

Sonogage Corneo-Gage Plus (LASIK and Glaucoma Diagnostic):
The Corneo-Gage Plus is an instrument that uses ultrasound technology to measure the thickness of the cornea (the clear front surface of the eye). The corneal thickness measurements can be used for many applications including glaucoma patients, ocular hypertension suspects and laser vision correction candidates.

Trace & Transmit (Computerized Spectacle Lens Ordering):
The new generation Trace & Transmit is an advanced remote spectacle frame tracing solution. It can instantly transmit frame data (along with the complete lens order) instantly to the optical lab. The lab receives your order in seconds rather than hours or days. Additionally, the patient can keep their current spectacle frames while their new lenses are being made.
